The contents in this section focus on instruction for using Internet resources and provide assistance with Internet search process. A list of Web sites selected by the library staff and organized by subjects is available under Reference Sites. List of some of the most popular search engines provides good starting points for your searches. Web tutorials feature the latest searching strategies and tools. These resources will help you learn more about surfing the web and latest trends in search engines.
The library offers workshops/sessions on Internet year –round. The main purpose of these sessions is to teach the skills necessary to learn the Internet and conduct research.These sessions are hands-on and open to every one.We encourage you to schedule a session by filling out the Library Orientation/Training Form. We need a minimum of one week's notice in order to schedule and prepare for your session.
